Product description
The Grandstream GHP611 is a slim black IP phone that runs on a single PoE network cable for both power and data, with 2 lines and 2 SIP accounts. It suits hotel rooms and hospital wards that already have a network point per room.
====
The Grandstream GHP611 is a slim black IP phone that draws both power and data from one PoE network cable. There is no adapter at the bedside and no extra power outlet to install. If every room in your hotel or hospital already has a network point, this phone plugs straight into it.
Grandstream GHP611 at a glance
These figures come from the official GHP610/GHP611 datasheet:
- 2 lines, 2 SIP accounts and 3-way audio conferencing.
- 3 programmable keys and 10 speed dial keys with paper labels.
- One 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port with integrated PoE Class 2.
- No power adapter in the box: the phone runs on PoE only.
- 211 × 53 × 44 mm with handset, 300 g.
One cable for power and calls
Plug the phone into a PoE switch port, or into a PoE injector if your current switch has no power output, and it is up in seconds; Grandstream quotes a boot time of about 15 seconds. Because every handset is powered from the network room, a single UPS there keeps the phones running through a floor-level power cut for as long as its battery lasts.
Built for patient rooms and clinics
The casing is antimicrobial and tested to ISO 22196:2011, useful for a device that many hands touch every day. The handset is hearing aid compatible (HAC), switched on with *422*1#. Set a speed dial to the nurses' station or front desk and a patient can call with one press. The status LED blinks green for a waiting voicemail and fast red for an incoming call.
Typical Saudi deployments
- Patient rooms in hospitals and medical complexes in Riyadh and Dammam.
- New-build hotel rooms cabled with a data point per room.
- Student and staff housing, and residential buildings that want voice intercom between flats and the guard.
- Lifts, corridors and warehouses that need a wall phone for internal calls.
PBX compatibility and management
The GHP611 registers to SIP-based PBXs. On a Grandstream UCM, dial *82# and the phone pulls its configuration and room number from the PBX automatically. Manage the whole fleet from the GDMS cloud platform, or provision in bulk via TR-069 or an encrypted XML file. Multicast paging and door opening with Grandstream GDS intercoms are supported. Security covers secure boot, a unique certificate per device and SRTP/TLS call encryption.
GHP611, GHP611W or GHP621?
The GHP611W is the same black phone with dual-band Wi-Fi and a power adapter in the box, for rooms with no network cable. The GHP621 is a black desk phone on a larger stand with 6 programmable keys and a USB Type-C port for charging a phone. Choose the GHP611 when rooms are cabled and you want a compact phone on the wall or nightstand.
