Product description
The Grandstream GVC3212 is a compact TV-top endpoint with a 720p camera, a 60° lens and dual microphones that pick up voices up to 3 m away, built around the IPVideoTalk Meetings platform. It suits remote workers and small branch meeting rooms.
====
The Grandstream GVC3212 is a compact endpoint, just 130 × 35.5 × 68 mm, that rests on top of a TV and turns any HDMI screen into a video meeting station. It is built around Grandstream's IPVideoTalk Meetings service, so colleagues and clients can join from a PC, Mac, iPhone or Android phone. Think of it for the home office of a manager who meets the team every morning, or a small meeting room in a branch office.
Grandstream GVC3212 at a glance
Everything a small-room meeting needs is inside one box:
- Megapixel CMOS camera recording 720p at 30 fps through a 60° wide-angle lens.
- Dual microphones, omni-directional and cardioid, with 48kHz sampling and up to 3 m pickup.
- One HDMI output up to 1080p.
- 10/100 Mbps Ethernet and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi.
- Two USB 2.0 ports and a 3.5 mm line-in for an external mic.
IPVideoTalk Meetings built in
The IPVideoTalk account lives on the device. Start an instant meeting in your personal room, schedule one ahead, or invite a contact from the on-screen directory. Layouts switch between Tile, where every participant gets an equal box, and 1+N, with one main speaker and thumbnails. Note that the GVC3212 is an IPVideoTalk-only device; the user guide documents no SIP accounts.
Audio tuned for small rooms
The two microphones cover anyone sitting within 3 m. Echo cancellation, noise suppression, automatic gain control and Noise Shield clean up the signal, and the full-band Opus codec keeps speech intelligible when bandwidth drops. Need more reach? Plug an extra mic into the line-in.
Wireless screen sharing
With Miracast you can mirror a phone or laptop onto the TV during a call, and the content reaches remote attendees at up to 720p over BFCP.
Who buys the GVC3212 in Saudi Arabia
- Managers working from home in Riyadh who need a proper camera and mic instead of a laptop webcam.
- Small branch meeting rooms in Khobar or Madinah that call head office.
- HR teams running remote job interviews.
- Trainers walking a small group through a new system.
Setup and box contents
The adjustable stand is part of the unit, so it sits straight on the TV. The box includes an IR remote with two AAA batteries, a 12V/1A power adapter, and 1.5 m network and HDMI cables.
GVC3212 or GVC3210?
They sit in different classes. The GVC3210 shoots 4K through a 90° lens, has four mics, two HDMI outputs, an HDMI input and Gigabit Ethernet, and runs Android with SIP and H.323. The GVC3212 has a 720p camera with a 60° lens, two mics, one HDMI output, 10/100 Ethernet and IPVideoTalk only. For a large room that needs optical zoom, look at the GVC3220.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the GVC3212 support SIP or Zoom?
The official user guide documents only the built-in IPVideoTalk account, with no SIP or Zoom. It is designed for IPVideoTalk Meetings.
Do I need an external microphone?
Not in a small room: the dual mics pick up voices up to 3 m away. For more reach, it has a 3.5 mm line-in.
Can I share my phone screen?
Yes, wirelessly over Miracast, and the content reaches attendees at up to 720p.
