Product description

The Grandstream GRP2602G is a 2-line desk IP phone with 4 SIP accounts, dual Gigabit ports and PoE, passing full 1000 Mbps to the PC over one cable. Built for companies whose networks already run on Gigabit switches.

====

The Grandstream GRP2602G is the Gigabit member of the GRP2602 family, pairing dual 10/100/1000 Mbps ports with built-in PoE. It has 2 line keys, 4 SIP accounts and a 2.41-inch backlit screen. Grandstream made it for desks where the computer connects through the phone on a Gigabit network, so the phone never becomes the slowest link.

Grandstream GRP2602G key specs

  • Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with PC pass-through.
  • IEEE 802.3af Class 1 PoE at 3.84 W, plus 802.3az energy saving.
  • 2 line keys with LEDs, up to 4 SIP accounts.
  • 132×48 backlit LCD.

Why Gigabit matters on a desk phone

When the PC plugs into the phone's PC port, all of its traffic passes through the phone. On 10/100 models that caps the computer at 100 Mbps, however fast the switch is. The GRP2602G passes the full 1000 Mbps, so CAD drawings and design files open quickly from the server, backups finish sooner and cloud apps stay responsive.

PoE or adapter power

The phone draws power from a PoE switch over the network cable and uses very little of the switch's power budget (Class 1). It can also run from a 5 V power adapter in a branch that has no PoE switches yet.

Clearer calls in open offices

HD wideband audio on handset and speaker works with Noise Shield and AI noise reduction to keep colleagues' chatter off the line. An RJ9 headset jack supports EHS headsets from Jabra, Plantronics and Sennheiser, and you can host a 5-way conference from the phone itself.

Managed centrally, locked down

Secure boot, dual firmware images, SRTP media encryption and TLS 1.3 signaling come standard. Provision it through GDMS, TR-069 or an encrypted XML file and the same settings reach dozens of phones at once.

Who it suits in Saudi Arabia

  • Engineering and design offices working with large files.
  • Finance and HR departments in larger companies.
  • Government entities and hospitals running Gigabit networks.
  • New offices fitted with Gigabit PoE switches from day one.

PBX and switch compatibility

The GRP2602G registers to any SIP PBX, including Grandstream UCM6300 and Yeastar P-Series, and auto-provisions on a UCM. Pair it with a Gigabit PoE switch such as the Reyee RG-ES206GS-P to use its full speed. It wall-mounts with the GRP-WM-A bracket.

GRP2602G or GRP2602P?

Both have 2 lines, 4 SIP accounts and PoE. The difference is the ports: the GRP2602G is Gigabit, while the GRP2602P has 10/100 ports. If the PC runs through the phone on a Gigabit network, take the GRP2602G; if the phone sits alone on its port, the P model is enough.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do the Gigabit ports on the GRP2602G give me?

A PC connected through the phone gets up to 1000 Mbps instead of the 100 Mbps cap on 10/100 models.

Does the GRP2602G run on PoE or need an adapter?

It runs on 802.3af PoE, and it can also run from a 5 V adapter on a non-PoE switch.

Will it work with a Yeastar PBX?

Yes. It works with any SIP PBX, including Yeastar P-Series and Grandstream UCM6300.
