Spring flower

Spring flower: A small perennial plant reaching a height of about 20cm. The flowers contain flavonoids at a rate of 3% and its main compounds are protein, quercetin, and isoquercetin. It also contains triterpene saponins and paraffin. Uses: The flowers are used as an infusion, where the flower infusion water is drunk as a treatment for headache, fevers accompanied by cold and mucus. A concentrated tincture is also prepared from the flowers, from which 3-10 drops are taken for cases of insomnia, anxiety, and hyperexcitability. Cotton compresses soaked in hot flower infusion are applied to the area of neural pain affecting the face or the trigeminal nerve. A ointment is made from the fine powder of the flowers with Vaseline to treat sunburn and other skin problems.
