The 10-volume oxidizing emulsion darkens the hair or gives it tone or color. The 20-volume emulsion colors over the tone, covers white hair, and/or lightens the tone. The 30-volume oxidizing emulsion lightens 2-3 shades. The 40-volume oxidizing emulsion lightens 4 shades; for more than 4 shades, it is recommended to use super-lightening ranges. Preparation: Mix in a non-metallic bowl one part of the cream and one part of the chosen oxidizing emulsion. Application on natural hair: On dry, unwashed hair, evenly distribute the mixture along the length and tips of the hair, leaving it for about 25 to 30 minutes.
