Product description

Description:

Aspirin for Protect 100 mg is a medication containing the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid. It is used to help prevent the formation of blood clots and reduce the risk of heart attacks and ischemic strokes in patients for whom a physician has determined such treatment is necessary. At a low dose, it inhibits platelet aggregation, thereby helping to decrease the likelihood of clot formation within blood vessels.

Aspirin for Protection comes in the form of enteric-coated tablets, which help minimize direct contact between the active ingredient and the stomach lining; however, this does not entirely eliminate the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding. It is used to prevent the recurrence of heart attacks and strokes caused by blood clots and may be prescribed by a physician following certain cardiovascular procedures. The package contains 60 tablets, to be used in accordance with a prescribed treatment plan.
