Masra Al-Harra Village Adventure | Maysan
Where History Meets the Beauty of the Mountains
In the heart of Maysan, south of Taif, an unforgettable adventure awaits you — combining history, mountain exploration, and a unique opportunity to experience the local culture.
We begin our journey at Al-Harra Heritage Village, one of the notable historic villages in Maysan. The village is known for its traditional stone buildings, winding alleys, and historic forts. Its architecture reflects the traditional way of life and the strong sense of community that shaped the region. The village is also surrounded by rose farms, adding to its unique character.
Al-Harra Village is also home to Al-Harra School, established in 1368 AH, and recognized as the first school established south of Taif.
Then, the Adventure Begins…
We head towards Jabal Hussein for an exciting hiking and exploration experience through diverse terrain, with a constantly changing landscape along the way.
Mountain trails, rocky sections, natural passages, and wide-open viewpoints make every stage of the journey a different experience.
At the summit, we reach the cave embraced by the mountain, one of the highlights of the adventure, where we can enjoy the breathtaking views from above.
This is more than just a hike…
It is an adventure that brings together challenge, nature, history, and local culture. We experience the journey alongside the local community, discover their way of life, and explore a different side of Maysan away from traditional tourism.
