Blake’s Tyger embodies both the qualities I wanted to portray: grandeur and irresistibly attractive on one side, and terrifying and frightening on the other. The "fearful symmetry" — the character attributed to the tiger — appropriately represents this opposition to beautiful perfection and horror. The perfume is built around an agreement of intoxicating white flowers with sweet aspects, which also include a note of musk rum — like Prima Donna, the heroine of a dramatic piece, it is the best example of a refined civilization of a past world; on the other hand, the core ingredients offer a different kind of wood, with some burnt and leathery qualities, hinting at a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery, and darkness. The result of these parts — which do not work individually — is a sparkling, shimmering fragrance that gives me a very exciting sense of highly dramatic evolution — a kind of contradictory feeling that anything attractive inside me evokes.
