About the book: In this book, which is considered the last work of the deceased, and was published during the global COVID-19 pandemic and crisis, Professor / Zairi spoke extensively, creatively, and diversely about quality and its great role in improving the quality of life, facing various global crises, and reducing their negative effects on our lives and work in a historical and scientific narrative through 27 chapters included in the book, which the author divided into 4 main parts. He began with the importance of quality and measurement in our lives, then dedicated the second part to the unique Japanese experience in the field of quality, then allocated the third part to the concept of quality of life and the impact of the coronavirus virus on human life. The book concluded in its fourth part with research and discussion of the bright side of quality in times of crises. The deceased also introduced in his book the concept of the fourth generation of quality of life and many scientific models and future proposals, which confirm the world’s loss of one of the most prominent thinkers and theorists of quality in modern times.
