Product description

Rondinazole is an anti-protozoal drug from Nitroimidazole with therapeutic efficacy against Trichomonas and Hexamita (Sporonucleus) spp. in these protozoa, Rondinazole is converted into self-toxic polar anion roots. After oral administration through drinking water, Rondinazole is rapidly and almost completely absorbed, leading to high bioavailability, and peak blood levels are usually reached within 6 hours after administration. In addition to its anti-protozoal effect, Rondinazole also exhibits activity against anaerobic bacteria. Indications: Introzol-100 WS is used to treat trichomoniasis and hexamitiasis in non-food birds, especially pigeons (racing pigeons). Contraindications: Use in animals that are highly sensitive or resistant to Nitroimidazole. Avoid concurrent administration of other antimicrobial or antiparasitic agents. Not to be administered to animals intended for human consumption. Side Effects: Introzol-100 WS does not impair racing performance, is not toxic to young pigeons, and can be safely used during breeding. Neurotoxicity and/or gastrointestinal disturbances may occur. Dosage: Orally. The general dose is 4 grams (one spoonful) per 4 liters of drinking water for 5 days (trichomoniasis) or 7-10 days (hexamitiasis). In severe cases, an additional 5-day treatment is recommended. Note: During treatment, birds should not be allowed to drink from other sources. Prepare a new solution daily. During racing season, it may be necessary to treat birds for two days every two weeks. It is advised to treat birds 5 days before and after the racing season and during winter breeding. Withdrawal Times: Not applicable. Not for use in birds intended for human consumption.
