The nutrients present in it have a positive effect on the bird's body, and are essential for renewing its feathers, which is especially needed during the molting period. Also, brewer's yeast strengthens the bird's immune system and helps support intestinal bacteria. NEKTON-R is given via drinking water or soft food from the start of molting/breeding until the end of molting or once the bird's color has fully changed. During the breeding and molting period, NEKTON-R provides the best support for a healthy life for birds thanks to its advanced mixture of vitamins, amino acids, trace elements, minerals, and pigments. The canthaxanthin, a physiologically safe food dye, naturally available in the same formulation, ensures shiny feathers and bright red colors. It is an effective and long-term nutritional supplement for all red-feathered birds. In addition to brewer's yeast, NEKTON-R contains yeast cell walls, which consist of mannan oligosaccharides (MOS) and beta-glucans. These sugars can reduce the number of harmful bacteria in the bird's intestines and increase beneficial bacteria. The need for individual amino acids increases especially during molting. A deficiency of amino acids in the bird can lead to delayed molting and shape disorders (such as curly or very soft feathers). NEKTON-R contains 18 amino acids that support feather renewal during the strenuous molting period. For proper metabolism, the daily diet should contain sufficient amounts of vitamins, minerals, and trace elements, so a combination of NEKTON-R with NEKTON-Biotin or NEKTON-S is recommended.
