Beamwidth Technology™ linear array dual-directional column with asymmetric vertical coverage. With improved mounting bracket to enhance aiming flexibility and stronger network. The CBT 70J-1, equipped with Beamwidth Technology™, represents a leap in pattern control consistency, using complex analog delay beamforming and reduced amplitude to achieve superior and consistent vertical coverage without the narrow vertical beam and out-of-coverage lobes typical of straight vertical speakers. (Shown with the grille removed) Features: asymmetric vertical coverage sends more sound toward a distant area of the room to make sound levels from front to back more consistent. Components: sixteen 25 mm (1 inch) soft dome speakers and four high-power 125 mm (5 inch) LF drivers, arranged axially. The patented pending Beamwidth Technology™ provides a fixed directivity up to the highest frequencies and reduces out-of-coverage lobes. The vertical pattern coverage is switchable between 45 degrees for medium throw coverage and 25 degrees for long throw applications.
