Shiganshi

Eren's eye stares from between the pages, recalling the shock of the child who saw the wall collapse for the first time. The shadow features around his face recreate the atmosphere of Shiganshina on the night of the Titan invasion, when an ordinary day turned into the beginning of war. The Scout Regiment emblem below the design hints at the wings that chose to go outside the walls instead of staying behind the false safety. Every return to reading carries the same tension before a new mission, as if the next chapter is the first step outside the wall of Maria. The sharp black and white details reflect the harsh world of Attack on Titan, where there is no middle ground between freedom and the courtyard.
