Product description

The Partagas Chicos is a standard cigarillo. Easily recognizable for its character and strength, this small panatela measures 106mm long and 11.6mm in diameter, with full-bodied woody notes.

Like the “Great Cuban Cigars,” only tobacco produced in Cuba is used. This cigarillo is very popular when time is short, taking only about fifteen minutes to satisfy enthusiasts. This cigarillo is available in boxes of 25 or 10 x 5 cartridges.

The oldest cigar factory in Cuba, the Partagas factory was founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas Ravelo when he left Spain for Havana. As the owner of several tobacco plantations in the Vuelta Abajo, an area known as the “Grand Cru” of tobacco in the world, Don Jaime had the best raw materials to produce excellent cigars. His cigars were soon so successful that many aristocrats of all nationalities became his loyal customers that the factory was almost given the name “Royal Factory”.

Under the avant-garde impetus of its founder, Partagas was the first factory to experiment with different brewing techniques, the first to employ the services of a “reader”, which made the work of the torcedor less monotonous and, above all, contributed to the culture and education of its employees.

After the death of Don Jaime Partagas Ravelo, the factory underwent several changes of ownership until it came into the hands of the Cifuentes family in 1940. After the Cuban Revolution and the departure of its owners in 1961, the Partagas factory remained one of the most important factories, along with Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta, representing approximately 251 terabytes of Cuban production.
