Description

Sinbad, the sailor of Basra, was neither a great general nor a fearsome warrior. But he feared nothing, and the tales of One Thousand and One Nights recount his bravery during his many voyages.

Upon returning from his rogue adventures, he would gather his closest friends.

After washing their hands with essences of rosewater and orange blossom amidst the smoke of precious incense, he would recount his strange encounters in faraway lands, describing in vivid detail the treasures he discovered and then lost forever.
