We’ll travel long open roads and live the caravan journey in full,
sleep close to the sea, observe turtles in their natural habitat, visit islands far from the crowds, and end the trip among the mountains and traditional Omani markets.

Day 1 | Arrival in Muscat – Drive South
Morning arrival in Muscat.
Meet & greet, caravan handover, then begin the journey south.
An easy road trip to ease into the experience, camping overnight in nature.
🚗 Moderate driving distances
Day 2 | Coastal Road – Wadi Stop – Sur
Enjoy Oman’s coastal roads,
stop at a natural wadi for swimming or relaxation,
then continue to Sur for seaside camping.
🚗 Moderate driving distances
Day 3 | Sur – Ras Al Hadd
Morning exploration of Sur,
then drive to Ras Al Hadd.
Camping and a calm evening with the chance to see turtles.
🚗 Short driving day
Day 4 | Ras Al Hadd – Al Ashkharah – Masirah Island
Free time in the morning,
drive to Al Ashkharah and take the ferry to Masirah Island.
Arrival and overnight stay on the island.
🚗 Mixed travel (land + sea)
Day 5 | Masirah Island
A full day on the island with no long drives.
Beach time, relaxation, open air, and quiet moments.
🚗 Short island exploration
Day 6 | Masirah – Nizwa – Mountains
Return by ferry and drive inland toward Nizwa,
then continue up into the mountains for an overnight stay.
🚗 Longest driving day of the trip
Day 7 | Muscat – City Highlights – Farewell
Visit Nizwa Fort and traditional souq,
return to Muscat,
visit the Royal Opera House,
Mutrah Corniche & Mutrah Souq.
Group farewell dinner.
Day 8 | Muscat – Free Day
Visit the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque,
free time for rest, shopping, or the beach,
transfer to the airport in the afternoon.
