To achieve the desired shade, for brown shades, mix henna and Indian indigo herb 👇🏻: Light brown: 3 spoons of henna + 1 spoon of Indian herb. Time required: from one to two hours. Medium brown: 2 spoons of henna + 2 spoons of Indian herb (equal amounts). Time required: from two to three hours. Dark brown: 1 spoon of henna + 3 spoons of Indian herb. Time required: from three to five hours. Application: Mix the Indian herb with the henna paste well; it is preferable that the henna is fermented overnight. Then add the Indian herb on top, stir well, and let the mixture ferment for 15 minutes. Immediately apply the mixture to completely clean hair, then rinse with water and conditioner only. 💡 Very important tip to ensure the light color stays: Do not leave it on for too long: Make sure not to leave the mixture for more than 3 hours, because the indigo, the longer it stays on the hair (like 4 or 5 hours), the darker it gets, turning into dark brown or black. Black color method (in two steps): Step 1: Knead enough henna and leave it on your hair for 3 hours, then wash it with water (preferably henna fermented overnight; gray hair will turn orange, which is desired). Step 2: On the same day or the next: Knead enough Indian indigo herb with warm water and let it activate for 15 minutes, then apply it to all gray hair for five hours, then rinse with water and conditioner. Note: If the gray hair is stubborn, it is better to increase the time.
