Ethiopian Shilashli Black Knight Coffee Sachets - 5 Sachets

This drip coffee box contains five sachets of Ethiopian Shilashli coffee from Black Knight Roastery. Each sachet comes with a pre-ground, weighed amount, allowing you to brew drip coffee directly over your cup without the need for a funnel or ground coffee.

The Shilashli variety comes from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia, with a dried processing method and a distinctly fruity character. In a cup, hints of strawberry, blackberry, and chocolate are evident, with a sweetness and relatively full texture.

Why choose the most elegant Shelleshli envelopes?

It offers a quick and practical way to prepare specialty coffee at home, in the office, or while traveling. No grinder or dripper is needed; just a cup and hot water, while preserving the fruity character of the Chilshley crop.

Suggested preparation method

  1. Open the outer sleeve and take out the coffee sachet.
  2. Open the top of the envelope and attach the arms to the sides of the cup.
  3. Moisten the coffee using 30–40 ml of water and wait 30 seconds.
  4. Continue pouring gradually until you reach 200–220 ml of water.
  5. Use water at a temperature of approximately 90–93 degrees Celsius.
  6. Remove the envelope after the distillation is complete and enjoy the coffee.

The amount of water can be reduced to get a stronger cup, or increased slightly to get a lighter cup.

Preservation

The envelopes should be stored in a dry, cool place, away from sunlight, humidity, and strong odors. The outer packaging should only be opened when preparing the contents.
