Or wash it by hand. Do not use washing powder that contains bleach or liquid bleach. Rinse the abaya well with water to get rid of washing powder residue. Do not dry the abaya in a rotary dryer or wring it out. Hang the abaya until it is completely dry from water, then steam iron it from the inside.
