Family picture

I waited for my new brother's arrival with more excitement than fire, and I believed that his coming meant beautiful family pictures in which all family members appear at the height of happiness, and decorations with bright-colored balloons filling the corners of the house, and delicious sweets and chocolates, numerous visits, wonderful gifts, and of course a beautiful child we play with who laughs at us. But I soon realized that there was another side to the matter that I had missed and that my mind was not prepared for.
