Zakat al-Fitr

On Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prescribed the Zakat al-Fitr from Ramadan a Sa' of dates, or a Sa' of barley upon the servant and the free, and the male and the female, and the young and the old from the Muslims." It was narrated by the group. The amount = the number of the people to be Zakat upon. It will be distributed to the needy, God willing, from the date 28 Ramadan.
