Product description

Imam Hafiz Ibn Waddah Al-Qurtubi presents in this book examples of innovations that are new, outside the way of Muslims, and contrary to the Sunnah and the Book. The book also addresses topics of innovations, linguistic and legal meanings, and the harmful effects of bad innovations on the individual and society. The early Muslims from the Companions and the Followers have unanimously condemned innovations and their people without exception, abandoned them, and forsaken their followers because of their contradiction and opposition to the Law. Innovations are divided into good innovations and bad innovations, and some are praiseworthy while others are condemned. As for what is proven to be good by a legal proof, it is not considered a legal innovation; therefore, the general remains preserved and there is no specific restriction, as innovation in law is: what is not indicated by a legal proof.
