Product description

This book presents an objective artistic aesthetic perspective with a semantic dimension in the field of human beings, through the perception of the poets of Al-Mufaddaliyat. Therefore, it is based on three chapters. The first chapter clarifies the concept of human beings in its two semantic fields: man and woman, and then distributes each field into basic and subsidiary semantic circles containing semantic units viewed from a linguistic and semantic perspective, and characterized by fundamental and specific semantic features, as well as the relationships they possess. This chapter relies on a statistical approach to these units and links their meanings to the nature of ancient Arab life. The second chapter addresses moral issues related to human beings, divided into two axes: the first studies the most prominent virtues and vices associated with man, and the second examines moral issues related to woman, aiming to clarify their relationship to the structure of the poem and its units from a thematic and artistic perspective. The third chapter is dedicated to depicting the artistic image of the human being based on rhetorical devices, especially simile, in which the human is a party, highlighting the element that served as a semantic equivalent to express multiple meanings. The study also examined the artistic images of women and their symbols among human experiences and myths.
