The concise in fundamentals of jurisprudence

And after, I was appointed to study the roots of jurisprudence at Dar Al-Uloom for several years, during which I was browsing through the books of the roots, both the detailed and the summarized, the old and the new, some following the Hanafi approach, others following the way of the theologians, and a third group combining the two approaches. Then I selected from those scattered works what should be presented to the eyes of the students of Dar Al-Uloom, who are in the first year of higher studies, so sometimes I found what I gathered exceeding the need, so I summarized it, and sometimes I saw that it required a little expansion, so I explained it. And my affair continued like that during those years, until I formed a summarized version of this subject which I saw to be useful for these students, combining ease of expression and fulfilling the purpose according to the study method. And I wanted it to have a name that reflects its nature, so I named it: The Concise in the Roots of Jurisprudence.
