Product description

This is a collection of praise for the Prophet Muhammad by the memorizer and scholar Sheikh al-Qira'at Shams al-Din ibn al-Jazari al-Dimashqi. It includes his feelings and emotions as he was going to visit the Prophet's tomb. Its editor relied in its verification on a handwritten copy that was sufficient for the respected reader to see the text printed for the first time, and to live with its lofty verses and noble meanings. Therefore, he ensured that the comments were concise as much as possible. He presented an introduction that covered two sections: The first section: about the biographical translation of the poet Imam ibn al-Jazari, which was fully transferred and commented upon — for increased benefit and completeness — from a manuscript book that was not published, titled: "Clarification of the healing in what is in the Cure regarding the biography of the Prophet ﷺ then the caliphs" by Abu Abdullah Muhammad ibn al-Tayyib al-Fasi. The second section included a brief introduction to the poem, covering: the naming, confirming its attribution to ibn al-Jazari, the place and time of its composition, the number of its verses, its meter, and mentioning some of its virtues. This collection has many virtues, including: • The noble subject related to visiting the best of prophets and messengers, may blessings and peace be upon him. • The scholarly status of its author. • The rhetorical insights and literary touches. • Ibn al-Jazari’s preferences in some scientific matters.
