Product description
The companions have a high status among Muslims in general, how could they not? They are the ones who transmitted the religion, preserved it, and conveyed everything they learned from the Messenger of Allah, صلى الله عليه وسلم, after acting upon it and making it a guiding light in their lives. May Allah bless them. They were loyal companions, and their biography is a light and guidance. Mentioning their stories is an honor and a trust. They are the leaders of this nation, and the symbols of piety, abstinence, and religion within it. Among these companions is the noble companion, the cousin of the Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم, Jafar ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, who was nicknamed "The Flyer." His biography is filled with fragrant scents, and one of the fragrant breezes of his biography is his martyrdom, in which he sacrificed everything for the sake of Allah, even if his body was cut and wounds and stabs continued to be inflicted upon him. The discussion in this research will include an investigation and study of a manuscript concerning the virtues of this noble companion. This manuscript is by Al-Hafiz Dia al-Din al-Maqdisi, Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahid. There is no doubt that this approach is common among many of the early scholars, hadith scholars, and jurists in writing and compiling about virtues, hadith sections, and jurisprudence. Through my research, I found that there are few, if any, who have written a separate work about the biography and virtues of Jafar, may Allah be pleased with him, among the people of Sunnah. Also, through my research, I found that this manuscript has not been properly utilized, which is a strong reason that motivated me to work on its validation.
