This book
I aimed in this book to demonstrate that Islam and science complement each other and do not conflict, through deriving the theory of knowledge from the discussions of the science of the roots of jurisprudence, where the clear boundaries between the field of science and the field of religion are manifested, and the influence of each on the other is shown, by elaborating on the logic of Islamic legal reasoning towards each of them, to serve as a practical applied proof of the harmony between science and Islamic religion.
The book also aimed to show that Islamic jurisprudence is based on a solid scientific methodology, and that it is not a form of divination upon which some religions are based, through analyzing the methods of producing jurisprudential knowledge derived from the texts of Sharia, to make clear to the reader that it is based on a scientific foundation free from speculation, myths, and the dominance of religious scholars.
Alongside this, I tried to present some discussions of the science of the roots of Islamic jurisprudence in a contemporary manner, touching on current issues and harmonizing with its logic and thinking, to ignite the passion of the intellectual and satisfy the needs of the specialist.
The science of the roots of Islamic jurisprudence is one of the most important religious sciences because it shapes the Muslim mind and draws for it a methodology in thinking and dealing with the sources of religion — the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah.
I hope this book clarifies this truth practically by presenting the discussions of the science of the roots of Islamic jurisprudence in light of the theory of knowledge, which is a method of composition that responds to calls for integrating human sciences in the study of shared issues to achieve cognitive integration.
