The pearls in the purposes of the surahs

The Book of Allah, the Most High, contains comprehensive guidance, lofty rulings, noble manners, virtuous morals, eloquent admonitions, truthful news, wondrous stories, beneficial directives, eloquent methods, clear words, and multiple aspects that do not gather in any book except in this glorious book. No other book is known to have captured the hearts of lovers, and the hearts of the successful have fallen in love with this great book, the Book of Allah, which they have surrounded with care and attention, and adorned with knowledge and understanding. Their lives were rectified by it, their tongues became eloquent because of it, their inner selves became pure because of it, and their outward appearances were made upright because of it. The Book of Allah, the Most High, is miraculous, for everything within it has no peer; it is dazzling in its words and style, in its composition and rhyme, in its clarification and eloquence, in its legislation and rulings, in its secrets and wisdoms that bewilder the minds, in its news and reports, in its history and preservation. It was from Allah’s grace upon me that I visited the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, and I sat there for hours. It occurred to me to write a brief message about the purposes of the chapters of the Qur’an, which is a type of its sciences, and includes the aspect of reflection, which is the purpose of the revelation of the Noble Book. Then, when I returned to my home, I added to it and decorated it with pearls of beneficial and unique quotations, and I named it: "The Pearls in the Purposes of the Chapters." I ask Allah, the Most High, to benefit His righteous servants with it, and to make it a treasure for me on the Day of Judgment.
