Social cohesion where the dark side of social media

Social media sites have proven their effective presence within communities across all ages and classes, due to the characteristics that distinguish them from other websites, as they succeeded in bringing people together despite their different languages, cultures, and beliefs, in a melting pot of communication through social networks, and thus they formed the largest electronic community on the face of the earth. Despite the characteristics that distinguish them, they also have negative effects on the individual, family, society, and the country as a whole. Therefore, the importance of this book lies in revealing the truth about these sites, their technologies, dimensions, negative effects, and how to utilize them positively for change for the better, in the interest of the individual and society in general.
