Taking care of children from the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ, for he had in his life a special place that indicates the completeness of his mercy and his great care for them. Among the manifestations of his concern for them was: instilling the fundamentals of religion in their souls, adornment with noble morals, caring for their feelings and stages of their ages, and teaching them what they understand and can handle. It is not hidden the importance of memorization in consolidating knowledge, especially in childhood, as Qatada Al-Sadusi said: "Memorization in childhood is like carving in stone." The scholars of the nation in its past eras paid attention to simplifying sciences and facilitating them—especially the memorization of the Hadith of the Prophet—starting from advanced stages in the upbringing of children. However, many of them relied on the principle of the subject—which is good—for this. But children at six and seven years old—and perhaps up to nine—find it difficult to memorize medium and long Hadiths, especially with the variation of narrators and the diversity of their sources. This often compelled me, when practicing this, to choose very short Hadiths, whose words range between two words and a line, relying on a single narrator from what the two sheikhs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim) have narrated; to make it easier for memorization and more comprehensive for the mind, considering the training of memory and gradual learning. No matter how short a Hadith is, it contains rulings, manners, morals, or values, upon which the boy is raised, mixed with his blood and flesh.
