The virtue Sheikh "Faisal Yusuf Al-Oli" presented the book. The idea of this book came from the purpose of easing for the beginner student in gaining knowledge in the sciences of Hanbali jurisprudence, and gradual progression in seeking knowledge. The author gathered a collection of scientific texts in various fields, from imams and Hanbali jurists. The author says in his introduction: "We chose them carefully, to be a primary order, to elevate the beginner student in his scientific journey, and we limited it to be all authored by Hanbali scholars. So we delved into the seas of books and manuscripts, extracted the best and shortest in our view, and worked on verifying and presenting them in a new form and a unique collection." The author reviewed these jurisprudential selections based on their original manuscripts, examined them, and took care to verify and present them in a correct scientific manner, along with explaining the most important contents and commenting on them. This gives these selections their value and importance for Hanbali students of knowledge. These selections are as follows: 1) Creed science: a part containing the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah, "Al-Aqeedah al-Rahbiyyah" by the Muhaddith Abu Bakr ibn Qasim al-Rahbi al-Hanbali. 2) Tajweed science: "Bughiyat al-Mustafeed fi 'Ilm al-Tajweed" by Imam Muhammad ibn Badr al-Din ibn Bultban al-Dimashqi al-Hanbali, a concise, comprehensive message collecting from the science of Tajweed what the Quran reader cannot do without, and what any student of knowledge who wants to learn about the articulations of the letters in the Arabic language and their characteristics can benefit from. 3) Hadith terminology science: "Bilghat al-Hathith ila 'Ilm al-Hadith" by Yusuf ibn Hassan ibn Ahmad ibn Hassan ibn Abd al-Hadi al-Salhi, Jamal al-Din, son of al-Mibrad al-Hanbali (who died in 909 AH). 4) Hadith rulings: "Al-Arba'un al-Hanbaliyyah." 5) Introduction to Hanbali jurisprudence: "Al-Mukhtasar al-Jali fi Bayan Maqam al-Madhhab al-Hanbali." 6) Fiqh: "Al-Masail al-Fiqhiyyah." 7) Usul al-Fiqh: "Risalah fi Usul al-Fiqh." 8) Fiqh principles: "Manzumat al-Qawa'id al-Fiqhiyyah," by Sheikh Abdul Rahman ibn Nasser al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, which includes a selection of his principles and rules. It contains important rules as mentioned by the poet in his explanation: "And after, I have composed for myself and my brothers a poem that includes important principles of the religion. Although it is brief in words, it is rich in meanings for those who contemplate it." Therefore, late scholars paid attention to this poem in studying, memorizing, understanding, and mastering it. 9) Grammar: "Al-Tarfa fi al-Nahw," by Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Abd al-Hadi al-Maqdisi al-Hanbali. It is a small message in which the Hafiz ibn Abd al-Hadi gathered the fundamentals of grammar in a few pages, demonstrating his mastery of Arabic. 10) Morals: the poem "Al-Sirru ila Allah wa al-Dar al-Akhirah," by Sheikh Al-‘Allama Abdul Rahman ibn Nasser al-Sa'di, who died in 1376 AH. It is a concise ethical and educational poem encouraging the worship of Allah, loving Him, repenting to Him, and urging the way to the abode of peace.
