Knowledge of the sciences of Hadith, the concise and definitive summary of the sciences of the أثر

These summarized pages are the culmination of the sciences of Hadith and its terminology, according to the authentic view I hold regarding its issues. I did not intend to discuss opinions or derive issues, as I have already produced many books and lessons that fulfill this duty. Rather, I wrote this brief to those who wish to know the summary of what I have derived from my long research and teaching in the sciences of Hadith. Therefore, I mostly condensed it from debate and discussion. This book is not a text, but rather a summary of the sciences of Hadith, in which I included its fundamentals, most important discussions, and the most likely definitions of its terminology, to be a starting point for students and a conclusion for researchers. I named this summary "Knowing the Sciences of Hadith" in homage to the book of Abu Abdullah Al-Hakim (d. 405 AH): "Knowing the Sciences of Hadith," and the book of Abu Amr Ibn Al-Salah (d. 643 AH): "Knowing the Types of the Science of Hadith," due to their precedence and significant influence in the sciences of Hadith. Then I added a subtitle: "The Concise and Clarified Explanation of the Sciences of the Hadith," to indicate the true nature of this book—that it is not a repetition of what I have previously done, but a summarized, clarified explanation of the sciences of the Sunnah, in terms of theory and application, based on my knowledge, study, and final judgments. I ask Allah Almighty to grant acceptance for this book and that it be a means for students of knowledge to find their sought-after goal. I have sincerely advised them, brought the distant closer, made the difficult easy, shortened the times, and alleviated their effort.
