Diptyque Philosykos EdP 75 ML | Diptyque Philosykos EdP 75 ML In perfume water, a different side of the fig is manifested. The fruit scent recedes, while white cedar wood replaces it to enhance the density of the wood scent in the tree and the scent of the bark drying under the noon sun. This song evokes memories of a Greek summer on Mount Pelion, where reaching the sea required crossing a natural orchard of sunny wild fig trees. "Philosykos" is a poem praising the fig tree in all its details: the freshness of its green leaves, the creamy flavor of its fruits, and the density of its wood. The word "Philosykos" means "friend of the fig tree" in Greek. The tree whose leaves and some branches were collected in a memory box was an inspiration.
