The taste of the wolf

Rest will come soon. He sighs, takes a comprehensive look, slowly directing his eyes.. his face exhausted in a way he has never seen before.. his features have aged.. aged.. he seems to himself to be much older than thirty years, murmuring in wonder: "Three days, and I did all this!". The hard part of his journey is over, in the village he will know how to reach after he eats and sleeps. He must eat and sleep first so that his mind clears from the shadows of the horrors he passed through in the past three days, so that his resolve is closer to maturity. The suffering is over, this taste will go away tomorrow or the day after, as if I never ate it at all, it's over.. it's over.
