Similar to Domo Tackle but distinguished from it and others by the thinness of the needles, which gives excellent distribution and high continuity. Suitable for use in cafes and home use. Product features: Easily and quickly adjustable depth to fit many basket sizes. Dismantles clumps and distributes at the same time, eliminating the need for a distributor and speeding up the coffee preparation process. Easy to use: just place on the basket head and rotate until the surface is even. Provides high stability in performance, helping to achieve comparable extraction results, and reduces preparation factors so you can focus on other factors and not think about the distribution and dismantling process; as they are among the most important factors in coffee preparation. Comes with a distinguished high-quality base equipped with a brush to automatically clean the needles from coffee residues after each use. Perfect thickness (0.3mm) with many needles. The thinness of the needles combined with their distribution design facilitates smooth distribution of coffee during rotation of the tackle. Comes with more than 10 spare needles in case the main needles are damaged. Product negatives: Caution must be taken during use, and it is recommended to always place it in the base; because the needles are sensitive and may tilt if something falls on them. But if a clear tilt occurs in a needle, it can be replaced with one of the spare needles in the box. Not suitable for use on a single basket (7 grams) even if calibrated to the lowest depth; because the design of the single basket is high from the edges and does not accommodate the needles. The stability of the needles is not completely firm; when moved by hand, they move slightly; but this does not affect the distribution process at all, and it is difficult to avoid because the needles are thin and cannot be fixed more tightly. ------- General note: We advise not to change the depth as we found its basic height covers three-quarters of the depth of VST basket and Pasado basket 18 grams, and we found it very suitable during experiments. ------ Which is better, Normcore Tackle or 3D Clump Tackle? Opinions differ on which is better and it is difficult to determine, but we found the following differences between using Normcore Tackle and 3D Clump Tackle after several experiments with both, and we hope our experience helps you choose your preferred product: When using the 3D tackle correctly, it gave us slightly better extractions than Normcore Tackle, but the stability of the 3D tackle results was not as consistent as Normcore, as some extractions with the 3D were perfect and others were good. When using Normcore, results were very good in most experiments. Sometimes, with the 3D tackle, we needed to use a traditional distributor because the coffee surface was uneven after dismantling the clumps, whereas with Normcore, the surface was almost even in all our uses, and we only pressed directly without using the traditional distributor. Summary: Therefore, we see Normcore Clump Tackle as useful if you want consistent results with slightly lower quality than the 3D tackle.
