One of its main features is that the pressing method is done with the palm, which requires less effort and is easier and lighter than traditional presses that put more strain on the shoulder and wrist during pressing. The fixed weight feature standardizes the pressing factor in every use regardless of the barista, allowing focus on other important factors such as breaking up clumps, distribution, recipe like grind size, temperature, extraction balance, and others. Distinctive size! Most Breville presses are 53mm, which leaves coffee marks on the edges of the basket, but what distinguishes this press is that its size is slightly larger (53.3mm), helping to reduce coffee marks on the basket edges. This feature also applies to machines with 58mm size, as it comes with a 58.5mm size, which also significantly reduces coffee marks on the basket edges. Due to its distinctive design, the pressing bar is fully connected from bottom to top as a single piece. The benefit of this is that coffee residues do not accumulate between parts of the press, unlike presses with a ring that prevents tilting. For example, Force Tamer, Bravo, and Normcore fourth edition presses require cleaning the part above the ring and the bottom and top of the pressing bar.
