The complete set of lower gear for Breville/Siig grinder includes all internal parts of the grinder, including the impeller (fan) and the flower, etc. The part is designed for Breville grinders and Breville machines with built-in grinders such as: Barista Express, Pro, Touch, Oracle Touch, Oracle, and Smart Pro Grinder. Note: The lower gear has been tested on the Barista Touch machine and the Barista Pro machine, and it was not suitable for them despite being sold by the company as dedicated for them! We are not sure if you will face the same problem with other models like Oracle Touch and Smart Pro grinder, etc. Therefore, if the gear is purchased and it is not suitable for your machine, a free return of the product will be provided (for free return, a video clip must be taken showing the part and that its size is not suitable for your machine). When do I need to change it? The lower gear is one of the long-lasting consumable parts and you may not need to change it even after 3-5 years, but sometimes the gear gets damaged due to some types of heavy coffee beans on the grinder or for other reasons like accidentally grinding non-coffee items. We advise consulting a maintenance expert if you need to change it. As for the impeller part, sometimes one of its teeth breaks, causing very little coffee to be ground during grinder operation or no grinding at all. We also recommend consulting a maintenance technician to confirm if you need the part. Note: We are not specialized in maintenance, so please confirm your need for the part before purchasing. Are the parts sold separately? The set is sold as a whole; individual parts cannot be sold separately from the same company. Does the gear work with Barista Express machine? Yes, the gear has been tested with Barista Express and is suitable for it. Do other parts like the impeller and fan work with Pro and Touch models? Yes, all parts work with all machines except the gear, which works with some machines and not all. So far, the machines that the gear does not work with are Touch and Pro.
