Francesca Bianca Blake’s Tyger Tyger Extraite De Parfum - 30ml, both the qualities I wanted to portray: luxury and irresistibly attractive on one side, and terrible and frightening on the other. The "fearful symmetry" — the character attributed to the tiger — appropriately represents this opposition of beautiful perfection and horror. The perfume is built around an accord of intoxicating white flowers with sweet aspects, which also includes a note of musk rome — like Prima Donna, the heroine of a dramatic piece, it is the best example of an elegant civilization of a past world; in contrast, the base notes offer a different kind of woods, with some burnt and leathery qualities, hinting at a post-apocalyptic scenario of destruction, mystery, and darkness. The result of these parts — which do not work individually — is a sparkling and shimmering perfume that gives me an exciting feeling of very dramatic evolution — a kind of conflicting emotion that anything attractive inside me evokes.
