Product description

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) work on exfoliating the upper layer of the skin to achieve a brighter and more even appearance. While beta hydroxy acids (BHA) exfoliate the skin more deeply to remove pore congestion. These advanced acids provide exceptional exfoliation to help combat impurities and enhance radiance. How the exfoliant works: This peeling solution with AHA and BHA offers deep exfoliation and helps fight blemishes to improve the skin. Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) work on exfoliating the upper layer of the skin to achieve a brighter and more even appearance, while beta hydroxy acids (BHA) strengthen the skin more deeply to remove pore congestion — working together to radically improve skin texture and fill fine lines. Do not be discouraged by the discomfort or tingling that often accompanies acid use — due to its content of 30% AHA + 2% BHA Peeling Solution. How to use: Ideally use in the evening only, not more than twice a week. Cleanse the face and wait until the skin dries. Do not use on damp skin. Apply evenly to the face and neck using your fingertips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes. Then rinse with lukewarm water only, avoiding contact with the eyes during application and rinsing. Do not leave on for more than 10 minutes. If persistent irritation occurs, stop using the product and consult a doctor. This product contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun, especially the risk of sunburn. It is recommended to use sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for one week afterward. Usage only as directed. Notes: This formula contains a very high concentration of free acids. The Ordinary recommends use only if you are experienced with acid peeling and your skin is not sensitive. Contraindications: This solution should not be used on sensitive, exfoliated, or sun-exposed skin. For pregnant women: it is preferable to consult a doctor and ensure these acids do not contain harmful substances for the fetus. In general, mild chemical peeling is safe during pregnancy, including alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid and lactic acid.
