Product description
Regarding the author's words about the book, such a work – an encyclopedia in an atlas – specializes in religions, known as the divine and worldly religions, so the atlas is divided into two main sections: the first section includes the divine religions in detail and the books Allah revealed to their followers, such as: (Hanifism – Judaism – Sabianism – Christianity – Islam). The second section includes the ancient worldly religions that were established by humans who have their rights and obligations. Although some of their origins trace back to prophets sent in their communities, their followers distorted this religion and changed what was in it. Such as the Zoroastrian religion, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Shinto, Jainism, Greek, Roman, etc. This atlas relied on the geographic map with its deep historical, social, intellectual, and creative aspects, in addition to photographic imagery that enhances the scene of the event. I conducted field surveys over different years across most of the scene of the divine religions and some worldly ones, as is clear and evident in every photo I took in this regard. This required great effort – may Allah make it easy for me – and thus it took several years to complete this book in intermittent periods, while I was authoring and designing it. I pause from working on it from time to time whenever circumstances are not suitable. I was keen to rely entirely on sources of each doctrine through its teachings, as I mentioned earlier, avoiding inciting hatred and enmity. I also reinforced this presentation with a collection of trustworthy texts from reputable scientific references, as is the case in the Encyclopedia of Religions, Sects, and Contemporary Parties, which I benefited from greatly in this regard. I also used other Arabic and non-Arabic books, websites, and CDs, which I mentioned at the end of the sources and references for each religion.
