Struggle for mercy: building empathy in a torn world

The book illustrates the importance of empathy in our current era, and emphasizes that the need for it has become more urgent than before. The existence of all means that encourage the individual to isolation and withdrawal into oneself, satisfied with their world behind the electronic screen, has significantly contributed to reducing empathy among individuals, even extending to groups. And despite the difficulty of building empathy through these means, the author hoped that these means would be ways of mercy, by bringing the suffering of peoples closer to each other and turning this resentment into a revolution in building empathy. It is not an impossible matter, but it is certainly not easy. So why not struggle for that?
