About love

Product description
In this book, Stendhal does not present love as an indirect offering like clear flowing water running from the pure spring of the soul and flowing into the channels and pathways of the self, carrying emotions, feelings, sensations, and reactions, and hindered in its course by inherited customs and traditional practices. This love, which he borrows its nobility from the nobility of the soul, encounters obstacles in its sincere rush caused by fears, shyness, modesty, decency, and the restrictions of social and religious traditions that political systems favor, adopt, and impose by force and oppression, along with hatred, malice, envy, jealousy, arrogance, pride, pretense, artificiality, affectation, vulgarity, obsession, possession, and ownership. All of this he mentions in his book. But not in a dry, strict, and constrained scientific style, rather with complete freedom and ease, supported by examples and stories from reality. He unleashes his thoughts to organize as they wish and as they please, in sentences and paragraphs, often finding them intertwined and interconnected, like mixing feelings with sensations, emotions with reactions, and each reader perceives them as suits him and fits his ability, capacity, and competence.
