The woman of the black island

Lisa and her mother, Raquel, left their modest home in Timoqo and arrived at Ngra Island in the early fifties of the last century. They live with Pablo Neruda in his large house, like a sea cave filled with things. Little Elisa spies on his infidelities and his poetry, while Raquel works silently and has become a servant to him. Until the house takes on a new life with the arrival of Neruda's wife, Delia del Carril, an aristocratic Argentine painter, who was so stunning that she seemed forever young.
