Product description: Imigran nasal spray contains a single dose of sumatriptan that belongs to a group of medicines called triptans. Imigran spray is used to treat migraine. It is believed that migraine symptoms through the temporary widened nasal spray Imigran reduces the dilation of these blood vessels, which helps in causing the headache. This will also help in reducing migraine attack symptoms, such as feeling nausea (nausea or vomiting) and sensitivity to light and sound. Usage instructions: When to use it: It is better to use your Imigran nasal spray: When the migraine begins. Or: When other migraine symptoms start, such as nausea (feeling sick) or vomiting or your eyes become sensitive to light. If you use your Imigran nasal spray later during a migraine attack, it will still work for you. Do not use your Imigran nasal spray before the above symptoms appear. Adults (18 years and older): The optimal dose of Imigran Nasal Spray is 20 mg administered in one nostril. However, due to variation between/in the patient for both migraine attacks and sumatriptan absorption, 10 mg may be effective in some patients. If the patient does not respond to the first dose of Imigran, a second dose should not be taken for the same attack. In these cases, the attack can be treated with paracetamol or acetylsalicylic acid or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Imigran can be taken for subsequent attacks. If the patient responds to the first dose but symptoms recur, a second dose can be given within 24 hours, provided there is at least a two-hour interval between doses. No more than two doses of 20 mg Imigran Nasal Spray should be taken in any 24-hour period. Adolescents (12-17 years): The use of sumatriptan in adolescents should be based on the recommendation of a specialist or a doctor with extensive experience in migraine treatment, considering local guidelines. The recommended dose of Imigran Nasal Spray is 10 mg administered in one nostril. If the patient does not respond to the first dose of Imigran, a second dose should not be taken for the same attack.
