Product description: Sefdenir is an antibiotic from the cephalosporin and used to treat many types of infections caused by bacteria in the cases mentioned below in children: acute bacterial otitis media. acute sinusitis. pharyngitis/tonsillitis. skin and subcutaneous tissue infections without complications. Usage instructions: follow all instructions on the prescription label and read all medication instructions or leaflets. use the medicine exactly as prescribed. shake the oral suspension (liquid) before measuring the dose. use the provided measuring spoon with mark or use a medication dose measuring device (not a kitchen spoon). you can take Omnisf with food or without. use this medicine for the entire prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve quickly. skipping doses can increase the risk of developing drug-resistant infections. Sefdenir will not treat viral infections like influenza or colds. The recommended dose and duration of treatment for infections in pediatric cases are listed in the following table; the total daily dose for all types of infections is 14 mg/kg, up to a maximum dose of 600 mg per day. a single dose daily for 10 days has the same effectiveness as twice daily dose. the single daily dose has not been studied in skin infections; therefore, Omnisf should be given twice daily to treat these infections. children from 6 months to 12 years old: acute bacterial otitis media: 7 mg/kg every 12 hours or 14 mg/kg every 24 hours, 5 to 10 days. acute sinusitis: 7 mg/kg every 12 hours or 14 mg/kg every 24 hours, 10 days. pharyngitis/tonsillitis: 7 mg/kg every 12 hours or 14 mg/kg every 24 hours, 5 to 10 days. skin and subcutaneous tissue infections without complications: 7 mg/kg every 12 hours, 10 days. Omnisf preparation instructions: for the solution, invert the bottle and shake it to loosen the powder. add 36.5 ml of cooled boiled water in two stages, shaking the bottle after each addition to obtain a homogeneous suspension. when preparing the suspension for the first time, leave it for five minutes to ensure complete homogeneity. after preparation, the suspension can be stored at room temperature. the bottle must be kept tightly closed, and the suspension should be shaken well before each use. the suspension can be used for 10 days; after that, any unused amount should be discarded. if you overdose on Omnisf, seek emergency medical care. overdose symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea, or seizures. if you forget to take Omnisf, take the medicine as soon as possible, but skip the missed dose if your next dose is near. do not take two doses at once. if you stop taking Omnisf, use this medicine for the entire prescribed duration, even if symptoms improve quickly. skipping doses can increase the risk of developing drug-resistant infections.
