Program description: Designed a computer software diploma in the Department of Computer and Information Technology in accordance with the needs of the local labor market for the specialization, and training is conducted in five semi-annual training semesters. The training in this program focuses on specialized skills: algorithms and logic, fundamentals of programming, internet programming, database programming, software engineering, smart device programming, and a number of supporting specialized courses. The trainee is also prepared to obtain professional certificates in the field of programming. Before graduation, the trainee prepares a project in which they implement the skills they trained during their training period. Training also includes general skills in Islamic culture, Arabic language, English language, mathematics, computer applications, and familiarization with the business world (career guidance, excellence, professional conduct, and communication skills). The graduate of this program is awarded a diploma in computer software from the Department of Computer and Information Technology. It is expected that they will work in fields related to computer programming and software development as an assistant programmer, internet technology developer, and other related programming tasks. Overall goal of the program: This program aims to equip the trainee with the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the field of computer software and to obtain level six in the National Qualifications Framework. Detailed objectives of the program: By the end of this program, the trainee will be able to competently: develop application systems, design databases, develop database applications, design web pages, develop websites, develop advanced internet applications, develop smart device applications, analyze systems, design systems, communicate with software and systems development teams, continue developing their capabilities, professionally communicate with specialists in the field, and use technical terminology related to computers and software. Number of diploma training semesters: 4 semesters + 1, each lasting 8 weeks + a cooperative training semester of 12 weeks. Each training semester is divided into two parts.
