A message about tolerance

Author's name: Voltaire Publisher: Dar Al-Ahliya for Publishing and Distribution Year of publication: 2025 Literary classification: Philosophy and Thought About the book: The credit for this goes to the Age of Enlightenment, which was created by pioneering intellectuals, among the most famous and bold of whom was Voltaire, who never hesitated to fight any battle, no matter how fierce, in defense of Enlightenment values, the rights of reason, and tolerance. This book is the culmination of one of his greatest battles. Voltaire, who by his family origin belongs to the Catholic majority in France, stands in this book as a fierce and bold defender of a Protestant family persecuted because of their sectarian affiliation, paying a price for fanaticism — a father executed by the rack, a son imprisoned, and a mother imprisoned.
