For the memory this book is not for loyalty The daughters of Aboud who departed from us in 1997 were unique in the Beirut cultural scene from the early fifties until her death. The daughters of Aboud did not only try their hand at literary and journalistic writing but also pioneered the publishing field, expressing their voice by providing opportunities for those they considered worthy to publish their words. This book, which does not claim to give the daughters of Aboud their due right, consists of testimonies written on her anniversary and texts by her pen and signature, both explicit and borrowed (Samira Hassan), some of which have been published before and others see the light for the first time.
