Repression

Author's name: Sigmund Freud Publisher: Al-Ahliyya Publishing and Distribution Year of publication: 2019 Literary classification: Humanities and Social Sciences Brief about the book: Repression is like a container filled with water tightly sealed and placed on fire – boiling if it finds no outlet leads to severe explosion. And it is the duty of parents, doctors, and social workers to work on fighting neurological diseases or in other words understanding what boils in the patient's psyche from repressed sexual tendencies and taming, correcting, and helping him to behave in the right way. And in most psychological diseases, the patient's mind often lacks knowledge of the causes that lead to nervous tension or psychological severity, and attributes them to causes far from the original cause.
