The true life

A contemporary French philosopher, worked as a professor at the Sorbonne University, and director of the Institute of Contemporary Thought in Paris, as well as managing the International Institute of Philosophy during the 1990s. This philosopher spent twenty years of his academic life studying Chinese thought, and conducted important studies at Peking University, becoming one of the few Western thinkers specialized in Chinese studies. He published a number of major works on Chinese thought, the system of values and ethics, art and literary creativity, intercultural dialogue, the concept of the other, and other vital topics, and his books have been translated into more than forty languages.
